As for the rest of the Miss Iowa week, we competed in preliminary competition Thursday and Friday. On Thursday I won preliminary talent while Molly McDonnell won preliminary physical fitness!
On Saturday was the crowning. Through all of the jitters I received 2nd runner up to Emma Kate Wichman who is now Miss Iowa's Outstanding Teen. I was so happy to get that far and I can't wait to go back next year! Through it all I learned so much about myself and what I am capable of. Thank you to everyone for the support that you all gave me from the moment I decided to start my journey in the Miss America Organization.
