Day Three of Miss Iowa Week

On Tuesday all of the Miss and Teen contestants teamed up with the Kids Against Hunger organization and put together food bags full of rice, soy, vitamins, and veggies. We then sealed them up and put them in boxes to be shipped off to a third world country. This taught me the importance of health and how lucky we are in America and how we take the living necessities for granted.

After that we went to Happy Joe's and met the real Happy Joe!!! He let order our favorite flatbread pizza they have as well as our favorite Jogurt. I got the Mediterranean Chicken Flatbread and the Pink Lemonade Sorbet Jogurt with Sour Patch Kids, Gummy Worms, Gummy Bears, and a lot of other candy!! It was amazing and I can't wait to order a flatbread again!

Then we went to Ridgecrest were we spoke to the people of the assisted living center about our platform and what this organization is all about. We also got to watch some of the Miss perform their talent, and they all talked about their platforms as well.

After that we went to Greatest Grains where we had the best baked ziti, chicken, garlic bread, and cupcakes!

Later we went to rehearsal and talked about what it is going to be like to be a state titleholder and what you can expect the next week if you do win.
